The mid-summer heat is in full swing, and the fishing in our local waters is hotter than the temperature! We are currently seeing a fantastic bite across the flats and around the deeper structure of St. Andrews Bay. The water is clear, the tides are moving well, and the fish are actively feeding during the early morning hours. If you have been waiting for the right moment to get out on the water, now is the time to secure your spot for a family-friendly fishing trip while the summer bite is at its peak.

We have been consistently landing some beautiful Redfish and Speckled Trout, especially during the incoming tides. The key to our recent success has been using light tackle with live bait, which has been proving irresistible to the local predators. We are also finding some nice Flounder staged near the drop-offs, making for a great variety in our daily catches. Whether you are a beginner looking to land your first fish or an experienced angler wanting to refine your sight-casting skills, these summer conditions are perfect for a productive day of inshore fishing in Panama City.

If you are planning a visit, remember that our fishing year-round strategy means we have a game plan for every season, but summer offers some of the most consistent, high-energy action of the year. The kids are out of school, the fish are aggressive, and the backwaters are calm and beautiful—it really is the ideal window for a private fishing charter in Panama City Beach. We have everything you need on board, including professional gear and a passion for teaching the next generation of anglers.

Don't let the season slip by without getting in on the action. We have a few openings remaining in our booking calendar for the coming weeks, so be sure to reserve your date soon. Come join Captain Scott for a memorable day on the water and see for yourself why West Bay Fishing Charters is the top choice for Panama City fishing reports and guided adventures. We look forward to helping you land your next big catch!

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Brian and I headed out this spring morning with clear conditions throughout the day for our Advanced 4-Hour Charter Tailored for Experienced Anglers Ready to Hook Big Fish. The weather was perfect for our inshore fishing trip around Panama City, and we had everything lined up for a solid day with West Bay Fishing Charters.

Once the stage was set, we focused on light tackle fishing, live bait fishing, and lure fishing to target the flats and backcountry areas. Brian hooked up early with some quality Speckled Trout and Redfish that put up great fights on the light tackle setup. Panama City's inshore waters are perfect for this type of fishing because the variety of structure and baitfish keeps these species active year-round. We wrapped up the trip with tight lines and bent rods all morning, cruisin' the flats and working different techniques that really paid off.

If y'all are thinking about booking a Panama City inshore fishing charter, our Panama City Guided Fishing Trip for Experienced Anglers is exactly what serious anglers are looking for. We specialize in light tackle and live bait techniques that consistently produce Speckled Trout and Redfish in these productive waters. The spring season offers some of the best inshore fishing Panama City has to offer, and our 4-hour charters give experienced anglers plenty of time to work different areas and techniques. Whether you're targeting trophy Redfish in the backcountry or working the grass flats for Speckled Trout, West Bay Fishing Charters knows these waters inside and out. Our Advanced Charter is designed for anglers who want to push their skills and land quality fish using proven techniques that work in Panama City's diverse inshore environment.
