I found West Bay Fishing Charters after doing a search for some bay and flats fishing charters. I contacted Capitan Scott to schedule a trip and he was very quick to respond. He actually recommended we move my proposed trip to a better time of day to take advantage of the tides and a better bite. On the day of the trip it had turned cool and windy. Captain Scott came up with a plan to keep us out of the wind and in the sun which resulted in a beautiful afternoon on the water. The boat was prepped, ready to board, and rigged to efficiently fish. We were getting bites nearly every cast from the first cast of the trip to the last. We got three or four species including redfish and tons of trout. I kept one slot red and cooked it up for a wonderful lunch the next day. Quality trip and very fairly priced.
